You won't believe what we found. We took some aerial drone footage of the old abondoned Republic Rubber Company on Albert St in the North/East Side of Youngstown, which closed in 1989. The buildings look eerie and surreal! Highlights at 3:00, 4:24, 6:15, 9:20, 11:00.
Merch: https://upthehoe.com Exploring the dilapidated ruins of civilisation, abandoned buildings, creepy theme parks, military bases, and underground vaults containing the remnants of a by gone era. And with a bit of comedy and humour chucked in there too, can't be too serious about these things. We're not serious urban explorers, we just love the adeventure. Urban Exploration is not for kiddies. Abandoned places are dangerous. Adventures are fun. Video technology and science converge on an active volcano in Vanuatu, where explorer Sam Cossman operated camera-mounted drones to capture high-definition images of the spectacular yet dangerous Marum Crater. Cossman and his team piloted the drones over the 7.5-mile-wide (12-kilometer) caldera while confronting toxic gases and boiling lava. Although two drones succumbed to the harsh environment, the team was able to bring back video and photos that will help scientists learn more about the volcano and the life around it. ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/NatGeoSubscribe About National Geographic: National Geographic is the world's premium destination for science, exploration, and adventure. I take the drone out on a beautiful fall day for a flight around South Baltimore. Highlights include a flyby of the historic South Hanover St. Bridge built in 1916, a peek into M&T Bank Stadium home of the Baltimore Ravens where the grounds crew are preparing the field for a game to be played in two days, heavier than normal Saturday traffic on I-95 thanks to the Thanksgiving weekend, the many row houses of Federal Hill, Sharp-Leadenhall, Riverside, and Locust Point all which date back to the 1880's, I also fly by Port Covington the future mega multibillion-dollar HQ of Under Armour which is currently nothing but open fields!
Hudson River State Hospital is a former New York state psychiatric hospital which operated from 1873 until its closure in the early 2000s. The buildings and grounds have been abandoned since 2003, and vandalism and multiple fires have caused extensive damage to a number of the buildings. While it's an interesting place to explore, the grounds are patrolled by police from the City of Poughkeepsie, and some of the buildings are unstable and dangerous to enter. However, exploring the former hospital from the air seemed like an intriguing way to get a sense of both the former grandeur of the institution and the mark that time and humanity have left. Please enjoy these images, and let me know what think of this video. There are more drone videos to come!
Flyability has taken part in an expedition that marks a new milestone in cave exploration. For the first time, a drone has been used - for a scientific purpose - to explore the area of a cave that would have been otherwise inaccessible or too dangerous for a human to explore. Many YouTube creators are using drones these days for great aerial shots. Thinking that badger would buy a normal drone i was surprised when he pulls out a 111mph racing drone. This is the drones maiden voyage (and its last). OpenROV is a drone of sorts that travels deep into the waters and can be directed by a laptop, giving those controlling it on land a close up view of what's down there. Undersea exploration can be expensive and dangerous, leaving many otherwise interested parties on the shore with only their dreams. The developers of OpenROV say that for the relatively small investment 849 dollars, those left behind can make their underwater wishes come true. OpenROV is a drone of sorts that travels deep into the waters and can be directed by a laptop, giving those controlling it on land a close up view of what's down there. It's also a community of like-minded people, who share software, ideas, and underwater images with one another. The concept was developed by a NASA intern and kindred soul who...
